Section Fimbriata.
Described in 2003, Arisaema sizemoreae is a deciduous tropical species from Thailand with a single glossy trifoliate leaf and a spadix ending in a cluster of fimbriate bristles. It is an exceptionally beautiful plant.
The spathe tube is cylindrical with a wide yellowish-green mouth. Plants reach around 40cm tall.
Tuber:
Tubers are subglobose and reach around 6cm in diameter. Offsets are produced relatively sparingly from the adult tuber on mature plants.
Seeds and germination:
Seeds can be stored dry with no significant loss of viability. Germination has been relatively good here, but has taken longer than many species. Around 8 – 12 weeks has been typical.
